Thinking to make the best of the good days I took Kookie for pics n encountered a bur . I recorded the time and established what I needed to play that game.
Before I left another guy talked to me, I had taken a pic of him on his bike. Thought the bike looked familiar but was not sure if it was him 😸

This is a lesson in lens flare I took two pics from here, one with the lights below then backed up away from the spot lights.
So it is why I do not like to take pics when the sun first begins to descend to the earth.. sunset

I didn't think Kookie would get any pets tonight but on the way down these guys liked her, she was gonna jump on em and I used the zapper. then she was too mild.
The zapper has 3 modes.. quick shock, lasting shock and noise. The noise works on all of em but after being conditioned she associates noise with shock.. don't need to give her a buzz

I goofed off too long .. first went over to the high school with the idea I would leave Kookie in the Jeep.. up the bench and take pics of the visitors on the opposite side, then go to the other side n take pics of the other visitors.
There will be gobs of pics on the field but me thinking capturing the excited families, class mates n pals.. maybe next year.

I lost the phone n looked every where, so planned to buy another tomorrow then a miracle took place.. putting on my drawers to go to town it magically appeared in my pocket 😏

Almost a perfect day for me n Kookie. The first time she drug me down on the ground when another pup wanted to rumble, when I went back I put the zapper on her.
Took some pics of others with their camera the second time too.
This morning I was up before daylight to make it int the fairgrounds and tonight I put the sun to sleep at sunset

Three tries in different years and this is the first one I got close to capturing the sun rise behind Mt P. I found a magic trick, so simple I never thought of before.. If the sun appears to the left of Mt P and you want it on the right, how can it be done

I got all my workout done today, the hard day but facebook kidnapped me and I made it in late. Didn't get to capture anyone so I tried a couple with Kookie n me.
When she passes the fountain she always wants a drink. I told her she should not drink after the nasty humans but she won't listen.

Just working on the pics I took yesterday
When I went back later the sky had a veil so I didn't go to forest rose, No parking places so I zoomed around a couple times. I thought I brought two cameras n couldn't find one. In the parking lot a car behind me shined their lights through my windshield and there it was on the hood. Did I drive 7 miles to town with the camera on the hood n didn't fall off .. can't be 😏#risingpark
I hoped to get there earlier, with no parking places I just stuck the camera out the window each time I went around n was stuck in the traffic, thinking TheMick n her pal might be one of those rides as I snapped the shutter

It is supposed to be nice Friday and the leaves are right, I will probably go to Forest Rose and attempt another great photo like this one. It should be in the afternoon so the sun is to the west. If there are any moving clouds wait till a break you can see the difference when looking at Mt P.
Because of depth of field you and Mt P can not be in focus at the same time.. this will require a pic of u and Mt P to be combined, this is what my best pic looks like.

I took a medium telephoto and you can not get close. I had a girl do this knowing it would not be great and intended to come back and do a couple of her when it was not so bright. She vanished by that time and I had to stretch stuff to make this pic half way visible.. probably go back Friday night for the last time.

Sunday night (free day) the fair closes early so I am thinking I will go another night
On the south side of Mt P there is an area by fair and high to capture fair visitors, thinking I will do time lapse there.
On the north end where me n Kookie is here, the demo derby, the live show, n horse events can be captured..

Looking at the sun when it starts down.. super bright n makes em squint but as it lowers to the earth, it produces a warm glow like this one

I don't go the fair.. goofy to walk around by myself n Kookie can't go .. what a monster, but
If u r at the fair after dark when we r there I can do decent pics after dark there is a little area by high street that I can get a clear shot.
If I am froggy I might take the tripod and just do time lapse of that area capturing different people.
I have a cell phone, I never use cept for emergencies .. don't even turn it on but if you wanna pic when u get to that spot, you can call
The beginning of fair week will be the best but clouds won't matter after dark.

Through the last years so many people have vanished.. moving away, just not coming any more. One pup I latched on to.. moved away but I still gab at her.. me like burr rabbit talking to the tar baby I guess. She was with me when I made my first video there .. something about others sharing your stuff I guess.
Others talk to me a bit making me feel like I know em n look forward to seeing them. A bit hopeful tonight but no show.. well until I started down the path. I told them the sky would be great in a little bit ( I don't see pics others take)

For some reason I was given multiple names as a kid as well as the one they stuck me with when I exited the escape hatch, but the one my friends n family called me growing up, I always liked to be called.

I have this one n another of me n Kookie in the basement on the wall that our pal Penni brought one Christmas.
Of course I can't go n walk around by myself, the Kookie monster would not be aloud.
The last time I was there my school pal came back to Ohio n we went out. I would like to just walk around a couple of times .. just a flash back of fond memories from high school I guess.
Remembering Friday nights after a football game just walking around with the guys n looking at the girls 😋
In junior high I got a job in one of the game booths to set up the cats people were throwing balls at.
If you come out n I am there a bit after dark is the best time to get the fair lights in the background.
