Had to take the wrangler to change some some stuff. Talk about an abbot n castello routine.. finally came home for an advanced nap, then to Walmart n to Mt P we went.
These guys let me do a pic n I had em standup to get the gloomy sky. Before leaving I saw a couple out on the rock n asked em... duh the same pals... thought they looked familiar 😋

I took the Pentax to try some stuff, no victims so I did a time lapse with me n Kookie, works Great
I have a gadget so park dwellers can capture great pics of them together when I finish it.

Saw these guys n thought.. hmm I will ask n they were nice, using the high angle flash to avoid reflections

I saw these pumpkins with their pups and took a few this girl had a couple nice shots n I liked this one the best'

Her pal's pup was a handful n she couldn't lift em easy n I got her to stoop down. Pretty good shot .

It took me a while but I recorded the sun position for each day of the year. The light yellow is the direction the sun comes at sunrise and the orange is where it will be setting if you r on Mt P tonight.

I need a grape vine tied on the moon so I could swing there each night. ( It is a few miles, don't know if I could hold on that long )
When it is cold, it is hard for me to get it in gear.. TheMick brought the phone holder today, n after exercising and a nap when I look out my window my sunsets are filtered through the trees (until the leaves come on)
Mick... one of the high school kids I met on Mt. P. with her mom n came back a couple times to let me play photographer. Now a mom with two pumpkins.. it was 2017 n I made my first attempt of a 'sunrise' video. I did a sunset, reversed it to make it a sunrise n added the song 'here comes the sun' 😋
They were standing beside me n I added a couple clips of her.
No park dwellers to photograph, no pets for Kookie .. just looked on Instagram to see what visitors posted from Mt P today.

On some Sunday's a friendly face pops up, thinking they came from church .. just something to look forward to.
I thought there would be lots of prom kids but didn't see any.

I know there is a time before sunset when it is super bright and people squint, but I can't tell strangers to wait till I am ready :)
I did the best I could by having em dodge behind the tree a bit of shadow over their eyes.. tried to get the pup's attention.

I watched these girls play for a while taking pics n being great pals n thought I would ask em for a couple pics.. I liked the top the best, then saw them out on the rock the sun's golden light making em a fuzzy glow.

I pointed the zapper at Kookie so she was being very 'good' while she was getting pets

Still to bright I should put sun glasses on these guys, then turned em around so the sun was behind em to attempt a sunset pic.

Headed down n saw the sun was ready. I was gonna tell them how to use flash to get a good shot. The girl's camera flash wasn't strong enough so I used mine. Hope they find this pic.. Once in a while I get some victims letting me play photographer.. wish I would have taken more

Looks nice so we might make it to Mt P. Sunday a bit cloudy but there is a face to see even if it is for a few seconds. Just need to quit goofing off here.

Didn't go to town but when I took Kookie out I saw the moon through the trees n set up the big telephoto.
The 600mm + fills up the frame, after I captured it, I threw a rope and pulled down to our home turf 😋

I saw it was gonna be a decent day n started getting cleaned. Kookie know she jumps all around n on me cant get my clothes on. My only defense is getting the BenGay tube after ... so goofy.
Saw these guys dad n son :) told me about the square holes never hear before.

Don't think I have seen anyone bring the stroller all the way up.. usually park it at the bottom of the last hump.
Got em to stoop down so they were at the same level n then saw his whole gang was with him n included that shot.

Kroger emailed me about pills n I got a bunch of food... driving the Liberty.. kind of nasty out.
So bad I just took the old 7mp sony, didn't figure anyone else would be on Mt P.
On way up I saw another old guy buzzing up n down the trail but not on the top. Me not so fast n Kookie peeing every 50 ft.
On the way down, there he was again n I asked him for a pic .. no he said gotta keep going ... asked his age thinking he was old as me, no he was just a pup.. 60 he said.
No one on top, the windy wind I tried to capture Kookie's ears flying in the air but bad timing.. a hint in this pic of what day it was.

Headed down I spotted these guys coming up n thought hmmm.
When I started talking to me they knew who Kookie was never seeing her before.. :)
The girl used to live here, moved to Washington and came back to make a special visit to Mount Pleasant.
They knew who Kookie was because they looked up Mount Pleasant before coming and found our web page :)
So great when people kind of know me... and I asked em to get a pic at post 32.
Overcast is great, no shadows or bright light to make em squint.
At post 32 I can stand a bit higher and point down (avoiding the overcast sky) and show the height n fairground in the background.
Using the old camera I really can't clearly see what I am taking pics of so I ask to use their camera to take a couple just in case.
Overcast a bit dull, fill in flash gives color saturation n makes eyes sparkle.
These girls, made the trip lots better. 😋
