On the way up these guys said I had taken their pic before. I was gonna talk to em when I got on top but started gabbing to some others. I did a quick capture of this one n whenI looked back they had vanished.
I did a total reset on the camera and every time I turned it on, it prompted me for the date n time. So I did that and lost another pair of glasses tonight. Guess I need to buy another dozen .. #risingpark

I went to Krogers yesterday to get my stuff n they were closed. Went today and they only had part, so back tomorrow I guess.
Already n town n early, I went to another perch that I photograph Mt. Pleasant from.

When I put em on I don't think how baggy or wrinkles they r, just find out when I look at my pics. At this stage of my trip here, no one would notice if I had fancy duds or swimming trunks. When I have no victims to photograph, me n Kookie r the manikins n I like to document we were here.. where ever.
Always thinking about the next cool pic, I thought wonder if I took pics of someone on Mt P when I got there and put em in my pic

Before most of you were born, I bought a scanner and it had a copy of pshop. I used to practice on my kids but they r in la la land .. different places.
When I was a kid my sister cut pics of people out of the Sears cataloge and put em in places, paper dolls I guess.
P shop is kind of like that.. careful to cut in the right places but if the background is different u can use magic mask.. first I took a pic of em with this blue sky

Thought I might capture a sunset but the clouds were mean, went in to get the pills but when I got there Kroger was closed.. they close at 5:00?

I had to take some stuff to the ups store so we stopped at Mt P for some pics.. Saturday n Sunday look like they might be good days.
I did some pics of people with their cameras too.

In order to capture actions it must be bright but it was dark. It takes time for the camera to focus and there is a delay so in my second try, I turned it on manual.. Knowing it would be a blur just posting it in case she wants to copy it.#risingpark

I was gonna go to town the other day but it was raining
I was gonna take the liberty but the battery was dead. charged it to day
I haven't drove it since winter n it was glued with stuff from the trees, washed it as best as I could, then took it to Mr Froggy, one of the kids there knew me n Kookie.
Coming out it bent my front license plate, got home n stopped in front of the carport to let Kookie out. When I got back in I couldn't get the shifter to move... giggle and giggle best as I could but nothing. I looked under the beast n knew I wasn't going there.. Thinking pay a garage to come take it in.. another $500 to fix it.. gave up, came in the house and typed it in youtube, the first like I clicked on was magic.. at least I have the #$%@# out of the way so I can get the others out.
Gonna be warm tomorrow, the 15th, might come in n bring Kookie for pics n pets.

Kookie doesn't have much energy unless someone pays attention to her n gives her.. I need to drive up n the jeep n have an ice pool for her to lay in...

I thought the clouds wouldn't play nice but away we went to Mt Pleasant, saw these guys first zipping up the trail past us n thought to ask for a pic .. glad I did they didn't stay long but Kookie got some pets.

These guys were in a spot where sun and shade filtered through so I asked em to move to solid shade. It was too bright for pics in the sun at that time, but in the shade with flash, just right.

I did some pics of these girls picnic with their camera, told em about flash then got them to test my time lapse camera. Kind of far away, the flash having no effect but I cropped one pic here. When the 'modeling shoot' is used, they have lots of fun with it.

I got my workout done today and Kookie just laid there asleep, sometimes she wants to wrestle n dance with me but she was bummed out.. thought somethinng was wrong with her. After a nap n coffee, I thought I would see if she wanted to go to the park. When I picked up the keys, she was her old self.

At the bottom of the hill I saw this guy in the dark. I used the flash but it made his eyes pop out . This profile pic was better.
Other than the pics I took with my camera I got to take pics of other couples/groups with their cameras.
I need to do that more in case I goof. I hope in the pics I deleted by accident, I also took pics of em with their cameras.

A bit of a challenge, the guy was looking away in one pic, the girls were attacked by Kookie in another shot and glasses reflection in a pic .. so
I swapped heads n put em in the same pic. Took pics of the girl with and with out her glasses. Using the glasses pic I removed the lenses n eyes and put them the pic of her with no glasses.

The skyview is setting off firecrackers n Kookie hurried to her safe place in the basement.
It is kind of hot and if we come out for a while it will be late.
For our 4th celebration I thought of a photography challenge.
Every year I like to ride the bike, go swimming, go to the skyview and capture a lightning bug.
I did tonight, trying to capture one in mid air ain't easy and I think they talk to each other.
There was a bunch of em and ater a couple tries, they didn't come out for a bit.
They were small also, after I captured this one a giant one came flashing all around me.. an attack firefly 😲
#1 Here is the challenge .. capture a firefly, put em on your pup's or a friend's nose and get a pic at the time they light up.
#2 Capture one in flight when they light up.
This is very hard because you have to be close so they are not just a spec and your camera is not fast enough to focus.
My theory how to do it. Turn off the review, zoom in to something about 5' away, switch to manual focus then wait for one of the monsters to come in that zone and flash their light.
No more trips to the Skyview, last time we were I took Kookie over to do her business and a couple rent-a-cops came over to have it picked up.. it was dark.. so they followed us in their golf cart with flash lights.. to find it.
